About Me

I am Diego, a Chilean dev who is passionate about Open Source, software development, technology, video games, virtual reality, and other geek-related topics.

I’m also a proud contributor of the Fedora project. I collaborate with other contributors on the maintenance of various packages. Additionally, through my role in the CLE Team, I work on the group responsible for maintaining the EPEL-related infrastructure. I’m also part of the EPEL Steering Committee.

Why a Blog??? #

I want to create a space to share my knowledge and perspective on topics that interest me. I won’t deny that it’s also a good way to improve my writing.

And Why Bilingual? Isn’t That Like… Double the Work? #

Yes, it is, but I feel it’s worth the hassle. A large part of the technical content I consume is in English, as is true for the communities I participate in. For the same reason, I believe my opinion and perspective are valuable and worthwhile to share with people who speak my language.
